How to use intel widi?

Hi,

I have intel inspiron 15R (second generation i5 processor) with intel graphics. I have read somewhere that this model also have intel wireless display (widi) technology.

Would like to know :

  1. if someone has used it and has idea as to how to activate it?

  2. I have acryan HD media player which is UPnP and DLNA enabled. So can I use computer widi feature to display the laptop screen using DLNA enabled media player wirelessly?

For Intel WiDi (version 1 and 2), you need 3 components:

  1. Intel core i processor

  2. Intel wifi n card

  3. Compatible STB which is Intel WiDi compatible.
