I want to play BF6, should i upgrade?

Hello everyone,

So I have a PC at home with the following specs
CPU: i5 9600k
GPU: 2060 Super
Ram: 32 GB (8x4)
PSU: 650 or 750w (cant remember exactly)
Cooling: AIO

I am looking forward to playing my Battlefield 6 on my PC, I am happy with playing the game at 1080p low settings. Should I be looking to upgrade any part? and if yes which one?
I am thinking to upgrade my cpu to a i7 9700k if i can find one.

Your setup is better than the one mentioned in the Minimum requirements so it should definitely be playable on the minimum settings

For reference , take this

You can decide when it does come out, if you need to upgrade or not

It should be fine but don’t upgrade to a 9700k. I don’t know how much you are able to get a 9700k for but It will most likely have negligible effect on the FPS and you will basically be throwing money at the wall (that is your PC).

Get BF6 now, play it with whatever setting you can and upgrade to a newer platform altogether when you have the money. Something like Ryzen 7600x + 32GB DDR5 + B650M motherboard can be had for less than 30k later on.

AM5 minimum setup (CPU, RAM & Mobo) costs upto 40k nowadays.

32k, can be cheaper with cheaper motherboard chipset like A620m.

Thankyou all.
will keep an eye out for any good deals.

Quick question I know this is off topic for this thread, but i also have a Lenovo Legion 5
with a R5 4600H, a 1650 and 32gb RAM yet when i was playing the beta on it i was getting CPU bottlenecked, which shouldnt be the case i think as this is above the min spec, I was getting around 60fps on launching the game but as I progressed to play matches it would drop 10fps, so after a few matches I was getting 20 fps in the menu too, this was on low 900p. any idea what might be the reason for it?

You can use an upgrade on both cpu and gpu
