iPhone 12 back glass broken. Options?

Family member broke the back glass of the iphone 12. Apple’s quoted repair cost is 42k which does not make sense.

What are the options? I have asked them to install tape on the backside to prevent further shattering and glass hurting their hands.

Any affordable 3rd party stores in Delhi/Noida/NCR which can repair/replace the back glass?

There are 2 options 1 get it replaced locally ask them to visit Gaffar market should not cost them more then 3k to replace just the back glass.

Option 2 order a skin either Dbrand or gadget shield. This will hide the damage glass.
