I’m looking to sell this iPhone 12 mini I bought early last year. It’s not in great condition with several scratches, chipped paint, dents, etc. all around.
I replaced the battery earlier this year without swapping the BMS over since iOS 18 would show battery health without that. It still says battery health is at 100% although I’d always need to plug in before the end of the day while I used it.
The phone comes with a spigen case, two official lightning cables, an official 3.5mm adapter, two screen protectors, an amazonbasics magsafe power bank, and the original BMS.
i have this phone bought in bbd sale and it still looks new. you should take care of expensive gadgets. my iphone is having 83% capacity and i think it fully get drained in few hours of surfing. battery is not so good in this device so anyone buying must aware. also delete the mail app and don’t update the ios to save battery life.
guessing from your description you changed the battery from local shop, it will give you several problems in future you should have either kept original battery and charge it 2 times or got replaced from authorized service centre
Only BMS of the battery is not replaced to original one, this is not a concern anymore, Apple now allows third-party battery health to be displayed from iOS 18.1, though it will be marked as “Unverified” instead of “service”.
No big deal, the battery will work just fine.
The only reason to do tedious job of BMS replacement from original battery to aftermarket battery is to get rid of the unverified message.
thanks for your inputs everyone, although I don’t recall asking for any
I feel the need to add some details for anyone looking to buy this. About the battery: I replaced it myself, and I think it behaves much better after the replacement than it did in the last months with the previous battery. That’s not to say it lasts very long though; I’d have to plug it in towards the end of the day, and I’d get 3-4 hours of use out of it between charges (100-20%). It drops quick after 15%.
I didn’t want to bother with the danger of swapping BMS boards, so I’ve kept the original one in case a future user wants to take that on.
The camera rings have some chipped paint on them. I understand this is a known flaw with this generation, and the bothered can be less bothered if they own a permanent marker. I’ve cleaned it away before taking the pictures, in the interest of transparency.
There’s a day of a testing warranty, although I’ll commit to making a good faith attempt at making it right, if you are unhappy after purchasing the phone.
I’ve tried to match the price with the rough condition, but it also comes with an extensive accessory pack. Feel free to message me if you’d like to buy it for less either way.
