iPhone 3GS 8 GB unlocked available for Rs. 19,990

Apple iPhone 3GS 8GB Available For Rs 19,990

YAY! Who cares about processing power? It can run Angry Birds! It can run iOS. It WILL run iOS 5 :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: ! Need no darn android :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: .

WAIT, I already bought a motorola defy :(. Ah well. It’s a good phone anyways :face_with_tongue: .

NOTE: iOS craziness brought about by ownership of two iPod touches and and iPad :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: !

Good enough.. But they should have atleast given a 16GB version at that price range..

If it sells enough, they may reduce price of iPhone 4 16GB so that it will be available for 25K..

Waiting for that..

Expensive as compared to competition. Alone screen resolution makes it a bad buy when other phones at that price point have 800x480 resolution.

Nah, not worth at all.

Will be getting crippled iOS 5 at the best, 3.2MP shitty camera. Low screen resolution.

Motorola Defy is way better at lesser price.

I find the XCD 35 ultimate VFM for the 9.5k price tag.

So now apple throwing the (sort of) outdated iphone to India at supposedly cheaper rates (as per apple). No point buying this phone. We can get far superior android (even nokia Symbian like N8) at similar or lesser price. Apple is taking Indian consumers for granted

Defy has a Cortex A8 800MHz and a PowerVR SGX530.
3GS has a 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, PowerVR SGX535 GPU :face_with_tongue: Still most Androids can’t beat the 3GS GPU eh :face_with_tongue: (Except the Hummingbird SOC and the newer dual cores)

Actually, the 8GB 3GS was a rebranded iphone 3G. Only the 16 & 32 GB versions had updated internals.

So, this deal is not worth it at all.

Thats wrong info bro, iphone 3G 8GB had 400Mhz processor and just 128MB ram whereas 3GS 8GB has 600Mhz+256MB ram.

iPhone 3GS is going to be the next phone which is going to loose the update support… So it would be better if people would refrain themselves from buying this phone… At 20k price point Samsung Galaxy S is a better option…

It’s an Apple product ! So you should buy it thinking you paid 5-10K less, you will be happier if you are concerned :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

At first I thought 3GS is an outdated phone, but a friend of mine bought it and installed iOS 4 and it runs like hell. I have iPhone 4 and I have compared the snappiness, IMO, both have been same !! in menu loading, touch performance etc. I was totally shocked.

So at 15K*, still it’s a good buy. But I really don’t know how it’ll do in iOS 5

[*forget you paid 20K :face_with_tongue: ]

Exactly my point !!

iCrazy people who always dreamt of a iShit(no offence) may like the pricing and may buy this piece of crap!!

if u forget the Crapple hype then its the worst deal one can ever make.
1.Old stocked phone to be sold in The Indian Market
2.Why isn’t crapple launching unlocked iShit 4 ?

an apple a day keeps the doctor away.. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: i think there are better phones for that price…i really feel bad that apple never understood the potential of indian market :no_entry:

it would have been a good option at 15k, but at this price, I would rather get a Nexus :face_with_tongue:

iPhone 2G and 3G

  • 434 MHz ARM 11 processor (same used in all S60v5 devices except C5-03)

  • Power VR MBX Lite GPU (7 times weaker than Power VR SGX 530 AFAIK)

iPhone 3GS

  • 600 MHz ARM A8 processor

  • Power VR SGX 535 (twice of Power VR SGX 530)

Woah, you surely got a way with the words there! iShit?! :open_mouth:

Defy may have a better processor, but as far I’ve seen, the responsiveness of the UI is not as good as iPhone 3GS, even with installing MIUI custom rom.

a nexus one at 13k is a better buy then an iphone 3GS @20k if we are looking to buy ancient phones imho :face_with_tongue:

iPhone 4 is already available in India in unlocked state! No offense but this is very typical of anti-fanboys always trying to crap Apple products without doing any research/using products first
