Is Samsung Stratosphere a good phone to buy?

I am getting a deal for buying this phone in 6000 without activation on reliance or any other operator and was wondering whether to buy it or not.
Currently having a Samsung Wave 525 (Bada Os) and was dying to switch to android.

What do you mean by without activation on reliance or any other operator? Check properly if it is carrier unlocked first.. If it is locked to Verizon in US, it wont be useful here..
And since it is a CDMA device, you wont be able to use it on Airtel, Vodaphone, Idea, BSNL etc..
