ISO image of the protected disk

Hello everyone,
I have a few old DVDs that I’d like to create ISO images of. Unfortunately, they are copy-protected, and I’m having trouble finding any legitimate software online that can help with this. Could you please recommend some software that can handle this task?

Thanks a lot for your assistance.

You may want to play with free tools like imgburn, dvd decrypt etc. Search Google for more details and options.
Support is very scarce or not available for this tools since long time back..
If any paid alternative can do this job, there must be a freeware too.

I’ve been trying to find free software to create ISO images of protected disks, but I’m having trouble finding legitimate links. Could you please advise me on which software to use and provide the necessary links?

Thank you for your help.

Not much can be done. Check these threads -

Try the old reliable DVD-Decrytpter if it still works.

Otherwise you may have to move on to AnyDVD or DVDFab which are paid. They follow a shareware model but not sure if the time-limited trial allows you to fully rip a disc.

I have never used makemkv, it coulld be possible that the disc has artificial error sectors that are supposed to upset any copy program that do not get accessed when playing the disc with a regular player.
