iTunes v8.0.1.11 + Vista Ultimate 64: Doesn't load the app.

Ok so after getting the ipods, I was unable to open the iTunes app after installing it. Downloaded the 64 bit version btw.

After clicking the icon, it shows:

Thing is I’d previously moved the Documents folder to a dedicated partition. So is it iTunes unable to find that? :huh:

I’d tried moving the location to the default one but failed and showed an err. So manually created the relevant folder but still shows the same error after several reinstalls. Please help.

Have to synch it from friend’s laptop.

Try installing the latest version i.e. 8.0.2

I’d downloaded this one today at around 12AM. :ashamed:

NVM. Shall download and check but I highly doubt that.

Henceforth shall keep the Docs folder in its default location. Should keep backups of the game save folders and other important docs elsewhere. :ashamed:

Where does the default My Music Folder point to ?? … you need to have the iTunes folder in that folder

Tried creating one since moving the location of the Documents to the default one didn’t help. In vain. :frowning:

try 8.0.2. just released today.

I had had my music folder moved too earlier on Vista 64 and had no problems back then. Am running the 8.0.2 nice and dandy right now.
