A new update for k750i has been released. I tried to update my firmware but got a message saying no updates are available. My phones firmware is R1AA008 and the update is R1BC002.
Anybody here successfully updated their k750i?

btw how to check the firmware. 4got.
Press this: > * < < * < * where < is left, > is right.
Then go to the Software Info under Service Info.

I followed those steps to the T…all you need is to dload the 30mb SonyEricsson Update Service II and then follow its steps..simple.
forget K750i 
convert your phone to w800i yaar… the phone looks awesome now

I have the latest drivers of K750i installed R1CA021 installed thru SEUS. Improvent in Java and camera firmwire is updated to 5.3 (its just a firmwire number NOT the increase in megappixels of the camera).
Strangely enough, my signal strength has fallen quite a bit after the current update. Is anyone else facing this problem?
hmm… nothing of that sort here nikhil… could be some other problem??
i updated quite a few days ago.. havent faced any low signal strength problem. as yet..
Can anybody suggest ? I have 2 memcards, 256 and 128, both are fine but my phone (K750i) sometimes stops reading them all of a sudden and it again starts reading them on its own. Say while listening a song it stops playing it and “playback Failed” is displayed on the screen. What may be the reason ?
Have dbl checked both the mem cards.
