my friend now wants to upgrade from her k300i. prefers sony ericsson… mainly for mp3 playback and fm radio… i saw many discussions on k750i being preferred and ppl advising to go for higher memory sticks. i think for her 512 MB is enough. so is w700i better… she doesnt mind the complaints of w700i(like no-autofocus and joystick)..
still, i wonder whether she will buy cos of the color(orange.. we both dint like it) 
so wondering k750i+higher mem stick? or any other phone???
W700i is a very nice fone, one of my fren got it recently (for 12.8K) , terrific sound n it comes bundled with a 256 mb card n its not orange in color, nice golden shade ya

I think you saw w800i and took it for w700.
W700 has a very nice bronze shade. But still k750 with 512 card seems a better idea . . .
If you want to look elsewhere then the nokia 6131 at 12k is a really good mobile. . .
if its for mp3 and radio, i would suggest sticking to the Walkman series… W700/800 are both gr8 phone…

My sis just told me that the photos taken with it were awesome (so much so that she hasnt even used her brand new Canon Ixus i Zoom) seems lack of autofocus desnt make a difference.
AFAIK no joystick problems.
It isnt “orange” (as in gay w800i ).. its dull golden brown.
ya ya its not orange i know.. let her have a look at the phone looks n all.. feature wise she too preferrig 700 only.. 
alas, i cudnt brainwash her to buy my phone..

anyways personally i didnt like the color of W800 or W700… But i agree if sound quality is the primary requirement then W700 will do else K750i will give a better all round performance…

anyway, i really dint see any diff b/w the sound quality of the w700 n k750, so i feel that the k750 has more vfm (considering the cam ofcourse).
The w700’s main plus points are its walkman branding and ofcourse its looks.
Go for W700i… Its a no brainer… Looks great…

there is a diffrence in the sound between K750 and the whole walkman series…
Its the Megabass feature which isnt present in the K series, and it does make a diffrence in the sound especially in the ear phones…
Last i checked… the W700 was seliing for 13800 in delhi…
