other then the asus notebooks, no other 14 or 15. inch notebooks have decent gpu …
very bad indeed
Any idea how much the Asus A8 series costs in India then? The entire Asus range with 14" screens are great for portable gaming solutions.
Hey, which dealer in bangalore?
Honestly there is not too much demand for dedicated GPU laptops in India.
95% of the laptop market is productivity office work related and 5% enthusiast.
If you really want a good config the best option is to go with dell and customise your machine as per requirements.

They are non existent in India. I tried my ass off and finally got this one from abroad through my sister.
Newegg.com - ASUS A8 Series A8JP-4S029M NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T7200(2.00GHz) 14" Wide XGA+ 1GB DDR2 667 120GB 5400rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 - Retail
thats just 1248$. Add another gig and you have the one of the better portable configs for under 60k.
That is exactly what I am looking at.
Have been drooling over that model for the past week now.
Do you have it with you now? How does it feel build quality wise? Am looking to upgrade from my Acer 4102WLCi which already a bit upgraded.
