Hi guys, I am planning to get my console ps5 repaired in Bangalore and I asked consolefixit estimated price for repairing left stick drag. He quoted me 1100/- rupees with 3 months warranty (not sure about hidden costs though)
Is it really that costly to repair console?

You could try cleaning it with wd40 Specialist cleaner it might help but its not a permanent fix as it would only clear the dust surrounding the potentiometers but if the damage is due to wear and tear you gotta replace it. Also look for hall effect sensors replacements so they would last more longer i think it costs around 1500rs.
