Lenovo Thinkpad T490 - unidentified port

Anyone recognizes what this port on my lenovo thinkpad T490 is? the leftmost port is type C for power delivery (dont know if this supports data when power is not connected), on the right are audio, HDMI and one USD Type A.

I can’t make sense of what the port between type c for power and USB type A is. it seem to have 2 sockets, one looks like type C and I can connect devices to it. other part I am not sure what is and what for. Claude seem to think its USB type A but I dont think so.

any ideas would be helpful?

Photo is generic because it shows the port clearly.

Thanks

Thanks @Crazy_Eddy for fixing the category as well as fixing my f*** up with one of the replies

Ethernet. But, you need an adapter to convert to RJ45. There is a symbol as well.

There is another RJ45 on the other side of laptop so not sure why there would be another ethernet. would try and test if I can find adapter I suppose.

I saw a sign but didnt recognize what it meant. would you know by any chance what would the port is called?

No worries. was trying to ask you name of the connector but someone else responded with the information so all sorted

They are inset so you can connect the official dock.

Thanks @salian

Do you have the ethernet symbol as shown in the photo above. If yes, it is the ethernet port. Lenovo seems to be using that port for multiple things depending on the laptop model.
