I’m using MSE, its not the best free AV from this Test, but my history with Avast & AVG leaves me with no other option :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

i always disable MSE when compressing/extracting files :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Seems ESET is a good performer overall :slight_smile:

awesome thanks for pointing towards Raymond’s awesome blog

Great info. . Always had this question in mind. .

I have been using Avira and its the best , lightest

^^second that, i have been using Avira free version from last four years and no virus problem till now, also its very light on the system.

Avira, Eset and Avast are the lightest and effective security solutions

i am using Avira Premium Security Suite, i am very very happy with it

Kaspersky bogs down the system quite a bit, but is lesser effective than Avira PSS(according to AV Comparatives)

Interesting read : Study Finds Microsoft’s Free Antivirus As Effective As Symantec’s Norton - Andy Greenberg - The Firewall - Forbes

Rates AVG and ESET as less effective.

NSS Recommends

  • McAfee :open_mouth: ppo::rofl:

Do notice the scale on the comparison graphs before drawing conclusions…especially the game score where kaspersky is being framed for poor gaming performance.. The lowest score on that is only 98.65% of the best score :face_with_tongue:

one wouldnt notice a difference of that margin.

God AVG performed well.
