Looking for a files transfer app

Hi guys, recently I have bought a macbook air, and now I want to transfer some files from my Android smartphone to my macbook, so I am looking for an app that can allow me to do so. A free option will be good but I can also pay for a worthy product.

Adding one more - LocalSend. Although it’s not browser-based like Pairdrop; you would have to install it, but it’s made for LAN transfers and I found it noticeably more performant than Pairdrop.

Can install, tailscale, enable taildrive and access your android files from any device in your tailscale network

Localsend and taildrop work beautifully but id say tailscale is overkill if its jist to transfer files. Another app that has been taking off lately is blip. Works very seamlessly and its the app i use when im not in a lan setting and i need to share files between friends.

localsend has a browser based webapp https://web.localsend.org/
