Just got a Fifine K688 and need a solid boom arm to pair it with. Preferably something that won’t sag over time or start making spring noises in a few months. Internal cable management would be a nice bonus too. Anyone got recommendations or is looking to sell theirs?
I was also in same boat last year when looking for a sturdy boom arm. I settled on Audio Array AA-09 after buying a few trashy ones. It can hold heavy mics with relative ease (AKG Lyra in my case) when aligned properly. The term to look for is springless mic arm.
Did a quick search on Amazon and looks like the one I have is out of stock but saw Fifine also has a few springless arms.
