Earlier last year when I was looking for a non-IEM pair, the only ones I found were these
(that were not prohibitively expensive for me). They’re ok, great for calls, but nothing earth shattering in music audio. They are mostly even though, not to heavy on treble or bass.
As far as I could tell, no. My favourite of this type used to be the Sennheiser MX265/275, I forgot the exact number, but that’s no longer available. On the whole, these seem to have gone the way of the compact phone. Not enough of a demand left to continue making them I guess.
I have these as well, really not great sound quality imo. And not talking about not having excess bass, I hate the overt bass tuning in most stuff these days. They’re exceptionally low on bass and sound very tinny imo. But cheap enough to give it a try I guess.
I’d suggest taking a look at the Nicehck YDK earbuds:
Priced at under 1K INR, it comes with a removable cable (which is a major relief as it will not be a e-waste once the stock cable gives up) and a mild [V-shaped sound signature](’
On the other hand, if you want something better (sonically), then the Yincrow X6 should be a worthy purchase:
Keep in mind that the X6 does not come with a removable cable, which can be a bummer, but the sound signature more than makes up for it, with [some calling it the BLON 03 of the earbuds world](’
It says “Excellent bass” would you say it has bass extension? as I’m not aligned to like bass especial overpowering/muddy type, something Sony is terribly infamous for.
I would recommend apple earpods, they are available in both 3.5mm and type c variant. try searching them in the nearby croma store, you might get them at a cheaper price than online retailers.
I got the apple type c dac from offline croma store for 3xx rs
