Pretty much. There’s some EQ options though. I don’t personally own them, my cousin does; used them for a couple of days and they were nice, the ANC also is pretty premium for the price given its quality.
I earlier used something like Boat headphones, though they were comfy, i couldn’t bear the bass heaviness. There isn’t anything close to being neutral-ish in budget i guess.
If you really want your sister’s ears to be as safe as possible.
Avoid giving her in-ear buds etc.
They are not good idea for listening to music for long .
Over the Ear phone is not perfect either but much better than in-ear phones.
Next Sony is really good. I recommend Sony XB910N which I am using and its fantastic . Superb noice cancellation , nice audio and good connections can even be connected through wire and bluetooth.
However, It is bit heavy…not much though.
next lighter option could be SOny CH720 I think But let others suggest better ones.
I personally have less experience other than Sony.
They do but I like it beside Sony connect App gives you good control on customization of your headset. This is bit old video but they have updated it to even better now.
Imo a headphone should be a person’s choice. Some people like sony/bose sound signature, some people like it flat. Why don’t you give that guy 10k and ask him to get a good headphone for himself.
Also, mic is below average in all headphones. A 800rs lavalier microphone will outperform the sub 30k headphones by a huge margin.
You can watch Crinacle’s guide to headphones (YouTube) and get an idea.
Just keep in mind most Bluetooth headsets have a big limitation in terms of calls. When you want to use the mic on it, the output audio also turns in much lower quality “handsfree audio” mode. So you unfortunately can’t be on a meeting and also be watching videos, it sounds horrid because of the low bitrate. Some headsets don’t have this issue but most do.
