Anyways I have seen many mac mini sold here and if I remember the highest was 48gb.
64 gb in mac mini will be hard find here but you never know.

Running some heavy containers. I currently have a second linux machine for this on my network but want to explore bringing it in locally so I can free that desktop up for local inference.
Yes 64GB RAM is a lot. Even 48GB would do as of now but want to future-proof at least for a year. CPU is not a bottleneck in my use-case.

Why not get other mini pc which can easily get 64gb ram?
I have a M1 Max Mac studio with 32gb ram.
Mac has memory compression, and very fast ssd, you might not need as much as you think.
I have a Nuc with 64gb ram and im using like 18gb lmao Dont be like me.

Can you explain the usage in nuc? 18 gb seems like a lot.
PRoxmox. VMs & containers..Some windows and linux VMs.
