As the title says I’m looking for 2 4gb DDR2 ram sticks for old C2D laptop to run linux on it, If anyone has some to offer or want to give away the same please do PM me.

These are expensive and very hard to find.

Not that hard as I found multiple of Amazon for around 1-1.2K, So looking for a used at a reasonable price.

Only specific laptops/chipsets can make use of 4gb single sticks.
I bought this for 3k, 4.5 years ago from amazon. For known compatible laptops (MBP early 2008 and sony vaio cr353 both 667Mhz). Didn’t work, was lucky to return then.

You will end up spending minimum 1-1.5k per stick for a known brand, if you are lucky. Laptop is most likely not worth that. If you don’t already have, buy 2+2 and call it a day.
