well the gigaworks 7.1 channel is much more poewrfull then the gigaworks 550.the gigaworks S750 subwoofer & the satellites are more powerfull then that of the gigaworks 550.besides since its 7.1 channel its more futureproof with since all HD soundformats such as DD true HD,DTS MASTER HD are 7.1.

do note that the gigaworks S750 is a wired setup but is so much more powerfull then the gigaworks 550.
dont forget that the the rears speakers of the gigaworks will have to be wired to the reciever at the back which in turn needs a power socket.

bear in mind that when you buy these , you’re buying technology , features and badges, not actual sound quality .

z5500 is the best for 22k
also z5450 is u want those surround at wireless
the z5450 will need 2 poweroutlets for the rare speakers.
