Use case: Primarily Lightroom, Premiere pro and Davinci (4k 60fps 5 min edits).
Planning to use external ssd to edit footages. Any hassle with this?
Could have gone with 8gb m1 air for lightroom only but for video edit 16gb might not be enough also!

if laptop is not must then you should get Mini M4 16-256 for around 50-60 and a very good budget will be there for you to buy monitor and other things

On payments page there is no mention of sbi or lcici offer. Doesn’t give discount.
Cant see screen on mobile. At least on payment page. That net effect discount is not correct. Interest would still be there from bank. You will have to call bank and ask to nOt convert to emi.
In my experience, SBI doesn’t charge any interest if you pay the entire outstanding amount before the end of current billing cycle. They still charge Rs 199 + GST as processing fees, but that’s it. Unless things have changed recently, it’s all automatic without any need to call anyone.
Agree, it should show for full swipe too as it’s mentioned. But works fine with upto 9 months no cost emi. Most people would go for this option anyways since they’ll have a way to save few more bucks by paying upfront.

May not be exactly 75k, could be around 76k if you also account for other charges like processing fee, GST etc.
if you are going to use it with external peripheral such as docker then ok. else 1 external monitor supported and heating issue will haut you later on. I personally use M2 Pro 13 inch and it can reach upto 106 degrees when under load for my work purpose. so do plan accordingly. best plan is to get a Mac mini m4 in same range with 16gb ram / 512gb ssd / M4. I use both machines daily and M4 is the obvious choice.
if u are not in to gaming u can definitely go for it with some external storage options
@@princeoo7 heating issue noted. primary editing machine will be the current pc. But mac mini will consider in the future. Instead of upgrading current windows pc, mac mini seems a better deal for the workload
for the price of upgrading the storage from base 256gb it would be better to invest in a good thunderbolt NVMe enclosure. Now on Mac Mac you can install apps even apps from App Store ( over 1gb ) externally by default so 256gb internal shouldn’t be a limiting factor. I personally have 512gb but most of my apps/data are on external drives so my internal drive has about 400gb free.
