While transfering music today, one of the songs failed to transfer and i got some error and hence removed the usb wire even tho my phone was conected to the pc… now it wont read my 4gb card, i even tried with a 512mb spare card it still doesnt read.
on the jet, ther is an option to format the card but that also gives some error..
i dono wat to do, is it the cards, the slot, the phone WHAT?
is there any other way to format the card? i dont hav a memory reader
^ Try restarting and re-setting to default. Else memory card is corrupt.
did u restart the phone and check ?

if the spare card is also not getting read as u said then has to be the phone acting up.

but the card cant go corrupt as the spare card doesnt get read , unless thats also corrupt 
You can also try updating Firmware.
yes, i already tried shutting down, starting up etc…
should i reset to factory settings? i think all that will do is erase the memory on the phone and not really affect the external card
i cant browse thru both cards… when i go to see the memory status that time the cards there but i get a pop sayin memory card has unregcognised format do u wanna erase and reformat…when i hit YES i get an “error” msg.

I used a frends card it WORKED. so yes I hav 2 corrupt cards and 1 is 4GB grrrr @
Format the micro sd using a adapter through a pc. then format it in the phone. check.
also try to use the card in another phone to pinpoint whether the card is bad or the cell.

its the card… i used it in another cell, wasnt geting read… so am wondering will i be able to format it at all?
no need to format the phone, just use a mem card reader to format the card and then put it back…should work…another format from the phone maybe needed tho
