Mouse that doesn't have issues long term?

I’m looking for a mouse that isn’t big(I’m currently using a deathadder essential and I DO NOT like the size). I would prefer something the size of the generic dell/lenovo mouse. Wondering if there’s something good for less than 3000? Or if there isn’t, what amount do I need to spend to get something better?
I have looked at the vxe r1/se+, and they seem to have issues with input lag for fast inputs according to multiple reddit threads.
Also don’t want anything from logitech/razer since they all get the double click/scroll wheel issues.

Are you Esport player? CS2?

I had to replace my razer deatheradder v2, it developed scroll wheel issue. Replaced unit works fine.

Secondly i had to replace razer deathadder essential wired twice! The last one they sent me works fine since 2-3years now. Reason is same, it also developed scroll wheel issue.

So i would not suggest razer. Go for logitech

Don’t get as much time for competitive anymore but would like to get a mouse that covers all bases if I get time again.

Yeah, every logitech has the double click issue, every razer has the scroll issue. That’s why I’m asking if there are other, better options available.

Hahah i will suggest dont buy expensive mouse.. just buy cosmic byte one with pixart sensor. Same type of sensor being used by big brands too like razer. Also cosmicbyte or third party company mouse cost less with same sensor.. just watch some reviews. There’s a lot of options for mouse

I had a double click issue a week ago on my Asus TUF M3, but only on the left click. However, I was able to fix it by opening it with my thumb.

I tried the same fix on the right side the next day, even though it didn’t have any issues, but unfortunately, the plastic broke a bit.

I have searched lots of mouse before buying my razer mouse .sadly their is no mouse that will have no double click issue or side scroll issue after some usages.Best u can do is find the mouse the feel comfortable in hand and use it until it stops working

best advice, gaming mouse will get defective eventually due to hard usage.. i will also suggest to check rma claim process before buying. razer uses acrorma, i have to pay to send to their address and then send it back with their expense..

Using an asus MW203 mouse for some years now. I bought it as a backup for my logitech mouse that’s a bit more expensive. I ended up using the asus one a lot more.

I had a similar thread few months back and as of now the BenQ mouse is as expected. Lasts for years going by Reddit posts but have to see.

Completely weaned off Logitech products 2-3 years back after using them for a decade because of the reduced warranty and use of the cheaper Chinese parts that they know will fail after a year.

Went into Razer expecting the optical switches to be better but that has the same issue, only after a couple of years instead of one.

Optical switches theoretically cannot have double click issue due to wear over time but dust can still cause them to malfunction. Every mechanical switch will have double click issue eventually due to wear over time but depending on switch quality/usage it varies from a few months to a few years.

Which BenQ mouse? I am fine with razer optical switches lasting 3-4 years but the main issue is their scroll wheel which might not even survive the 1 year warranty.

It is typical mechanical switch mouse with 60million omron switches. Its warranty also seem to be handled by acro (same as razer) so need to send to their address as per @CasualGamer91

Acro is fine, it would be better if company paid for the shipment from my side also

If longevity is a concern, keep your expensive gaming mouse separate, use only for gaming, and keep it in a box to protected it from dust, when not in use.

For normal desktop use any decent logitech mouse is enough.

Using G502 since 2018, never had any issue. Works great.
