Move installed games on Windows 10 from C drive to D drive

C drive = 1 tb ssd (running out of space)
D drive = 2 tb ssd (empty)

How can i move games installed from C drive to D drive.
Installable files are deleted.

  1. Cut

  2. Paste

  3. Create [Junction](’

)

(’

Link Shell Extension

) if you’re CMD averse

Thanks for quick reply,
Not really into cmd.
Will try it with link small guide you have given.

I hope it won’t break any big games?

It’s indistinguishable from games physically stored in the target drive C:\

For most games (as long as they’re not installed in a launcher like Steam), the junction won’t even be necessary - you can move the files and just edit the shortcut and they’ll probably work fine. If they are installed through a launcher, it’ll probably have an option to move it in the settings.

Most of games are fit girl repacks

Then you should be able to move the files and just edit the shortcut - I think I’ve done that before with one of those repacks

Will move and test, then do for all, if works flawless
