My first PC Build

Hello everyone. So, I am a college student. I saved money from doing internships to build my first PC. I had done basic upgrades in my old PC that my father had gotten. But since it was i5 3rd gen system, it got me limited use.

So, I saved money and this month completed the first part of my PC Build. I got everything except a GPU, and some extra storage will need to save more money for it.

My Build specs till now

Ryzen 7 7700X - 18.5K from @el_diablo

Arctic Freezer 36 cpu cooler - 3.09K - Computech

Asrock B650M HDV/M.2 - 11,635 - Elitehubs

Patriot Viper 7000 MHZ CL32 2X16GB - (running it at 6000Mhz CL32) - 7.25K - Got this since it cost me the same as a 6000 MHZ CL36 kit - @crazyuploader Helped me order it through cc on amazon to get some extra discount

ANT Esports Crystal X7 - 4.6K - Vishal Peripherals - I could have gotten a better Case, but I was already stretching my budget and this is all I could get. I got it because it came with 7 fans and had Type C in front.

Antec HCG1000 Extreme PSU - 4.6K - from @chungus

I had 1 TB WD BX500 sata ssd, so using it for now, will get a nvme soon.

In total this cost me around 49.5K.

Using without a gpu for now. I can still play old games with the igpu of 7700X. The CPU runs great. Running with -30 PBO all core and +15 on ipgu overclocked +600 mhz.
The temps stay around 50C on idle in this Delhi summer temperature, and while gaming stays around 60C. So I’m also fine with the temps.

Attaching some pics, I dont really know how to take pics and my phone is also old, so ignore the quality
I usually keep the LEDs off, just turned them on for the pics.

Yup, planning to get one around the Diwali sale time. Hopefully will get some decent discount on something like 9060XT 16 GB or even 7800XT

Nothing like building your first PC, especially as after saving up while you’re still in college!

Looks great!

Looks cool. What’s your usual use case? Coding?

9060XT is very good but unfortunately very much overpriced in India at the moment due to it being a new launch, hopefully prices will come down by Diwali time.

Well, I want to learn coding, because I want to get into bioinformatics. Right now it’s just for general use case, gaming and some internship work.
