My Ongoing Issues with Computech – Need Community Advice

This isn’t my first order with Computech. Earlier, I had bought a motherboard, case, and some other parts. Back then, their site showed the case as in stock, but later they told me it wasn’t actually available. Because of time pressure, I had to compromise and buy the alternative they suggested.

Fast forward to July 18:

I mistakenly ordered an Arctic F12 instead of a P12.

I accepted the mistake, sent it back through my courier partner (₹250), and also paid the extra cost difference for the P12.

When the replacement arrived, I got only 2 fans instead of 3, and one fan wasn’t working.

Again, I had to spend ₹250 on courier to return it.

Now it’s September 1, and the issue is still unresolved. When I informed them about the defective fan, their response was basically just “GG”, which felt dismissive.

I accept that the initial wrong order was my mistake, but after that it’s been stock mismanagement, courier costs, delays, missing items, and a defective fan. On top of that, their prices are noticeably above market rates.

Has anyone else faced similar problems with Computech? Should I continue waiting or just cut my losses and move on?

Threaten and log a case in Ingram and then let Computech know.

Did you get the replacement for missing fan? Have you contacted the brand to see if you can get the replacement for non-functioning fan directly from them instead of waiting for computech?

Their customer service has been pretty lack luster to be honest, you’re probably gonna have to call and annoy them very often to get things done, unless you want to escalate using other means. They have a few reps who take calls I believe, maybe 2. I don’t remember the names but one of them is infinitely more helpful than the other, but they also blame the things on each other so who knows.

Hope your issue gets resolved soon though. Try calling instead of texting or emailing.

Always better to check with these online stores about their stock availability before ordering from my experience.
i have bought a lot of stuff from computech too but lately they seem to be very unresponsive on their whatsapp etc ,so avoided buying from them for my last few purchases

I think that man said “GG.” In the meantime, I’m wondering what I did to get this type of response.

Owner(harsh) told me that thing and they are unresponsive.

One of my mistakes.

They were very small and now are getting a ton of orders suddenly as their google rankings have shot up. Better to visit a nearby electronics market. Prices are 10% lower than computech. Also, i now purchase everything from used market except few items so stopped ordering from even amazon, I visit local market for everything now, more dopamine is released in offline purchases. I purchased my last mobile not from Flipkart but from croma.
