Guys, i want to upgrade my gcard and i want to know which one should i go for without getting bottle necked.
My budget is 9K so i cant go beyond that
in future i might be upgrading to 1080P display, so please reccomend which card i should go for?
It edges clearly in all games expect starcraft and Batman:AA.
Power consumption is also good in comparison with 650, but temps are high.
Even in BF3, it’s giving decent amount of FPS.
If your budget permits, and if under 10K you can find 650 Ti, go with that. : AnandTech - Bench - GPU12
Do also consider Zotac GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB AMP Edition
It is hell of a beast card and the most bang for buck currently one can get for 10k by easily beating HD 6850 and GTX 560 in nearly every game, also do find the local prices around your area prices should be around 10k which is over your budget but well worth to consider
The Zotac GTX650Ti AMP Edition will go over the budget of op since it’s priced at 11k,For 9k Sapphire HD7770 looks good for op,Considering future 1080p upgrade both the gpu will give mid graphic performance. The overclocked HD7770 will give 10-15fps gain in performance so it’s op’s call if he’s ready to spend 2k more then he can go for GTX650Ti OR save 2k and get HD7770 which will give same performance at 1080p,Cheers. AMD Drivers are stable. Gone are the days when AMD was bashed for its messed up drivers
THe reason why iam trying to avoid AMD ccards is the DRIVERS, have they improved driver support for AMD ?
If you can spend more then get a 650ti or settle with 6850/7770.
The drivers support is fine,I don’t know why people still avoid the AMD GPU cause of bad drivers ,Go ahead with HD7770 it’s good enough to drive the latest games.
Whoa
77770 is performing better than 650ti should i get that one also how is amd drivers suport for latest games?
#ubergeek, I guess you meant 650, not 650 Ti. 650 Ti owns 7770 in almost all games. AnandTech - Bench - GPU12
From reviews at various places, I would give following ranking.
650 > 7770 > 650 Ti > 7850
If you are BF3 frenzy, IMO 650 Ti would make more sense from above comparison. But 7770 is beating 650Ti in some DX11 based benches, makes it a long runner, and good future proof card to game on med settings at 1080p.
Frostbyte 2 engine optimizes physx, so Nvidia cards will perform better, but latest 12.11beta drivers are boosting some ATI cards’ performance by 10-15 FPS in games like BF3, BL2.
hmmmm 650ti seems to be performing bettter than 7770 but i have to spend 2K extra the frame rate diffrence are quite vast espcially in metro 2033 ill be playing mostly SP games and a bit of BF3 and Plant side 2 occasionally ,is there any good deals out there for gtx650ti
Maybe you can hold off till christmas, some dealer might have a deal for it. Just my guess, cant be sure, coz 650ti has just arrived in the market. for eg. 6850 was out for 11.5k and after almost 6 to 8 months its priced dropped to 9.5k to 10k
I suggest you to spend some more bucks and get 650ti (peace of mind), you wont regret. Let me know if you want some money ;)
Cat wait for that long i already waited long enough

Yeah +1 to GTX 650 Ti , driver support is better on the green side as well.
Your best bet is zotac 2 gb amp edition since it has better cooler and better factory oc which is a plus, just check one thing if your case has proper ventilation or not since these cards blow all the hot air inside the cabby.
Yeah I know since 2011
Thanks for the offer, totally appreciate it but money is not the problem, its just that i have been saving up for a while and want to invest it in getting a nice juicy gcard i do wanna spend but maybe not that much .
After seeing benchies and reviews gtx650ti seems to be the way forward for me now and for years to come , you know guys 5 years ago i got my 8800gt my first mid end card and till now i played each and every game without any issues except for few games like (L.A noire,BF3,WItcher2,AC3,NFSMW) my system really struggles when trying to run these games so getting a gtx650ti solves that, i hope for it to be my CARD for the next 5 years
