Hello TEians,
I’m reaching out for hands-on help for my friend in Chhattarpur Enclave Phase 2 (pin code: 110074), Delhi. He’s new to assembling PCs, and I sent him my cabinet in fully working condition a while back. He’s purchased all other components locally—monitor, UPS, etc.—and tried to put it together, but encountered a bunch of boot issues and random crashes (long boots, crashes, no display at times). I tried guiding him remotely, but things got quite confusing.
Eventually, to be safe, he RMA’d his motherboard and SMPS. Now, with a fresh setup, everything powers up—LEDs, fans, GPU, RAM—all glow and spin, but the display won’t output any signal to the monitor through the display cable.
Here’s the exact build:
-
Original (sent to friend):
-
AMD 5600X CPU
-
ASRock B450 Pro4 motherboard
-
16GB G.Skill RAM (8x2, 3600MHz)
-
Nvidia 5060 Ti 16GB GPU
-
Additional 16GB ADATA RAM (8x2, 3200MHz)
-
Samsung 970 Pro 256GB SSD
-
Lian Li 216 cabinet
-
Corsair HX750 SMPS
-
-
Current (after RMA/upgrades):
-
ASRock B550 Pro4 motherboard (new)
-
Corsair HX1000i SMPS (new)
-
MSI 27” 180Hz 2K monitor (just bought)
-
Altec 2000VA UPS
-
He’s thoroughly checked connections, power, slots, and tried troubleshooting online, but the system still refuses to display any signal. Everything lights up and spins, just no output.
