PSU get a NEOHE.. 500 watts @ rs 6500 :)… Cabby get a super lanboy.. but i guess that would exceed his budget by a big margin!

and the seagate sata 250gb i was qouted 4450 today!!

Go for Micron -5BD chips or Samsung UCCC chips.

And why does everyone ignor speakers and sound card :confused: :confused: Sound is just as important as graphics :face_with_tongue:

I’d rather suggest an A8N-E instead of a A8N-SLI Premium
& a 19" CRT instead of a 17"…

If you are getting the 512mb X1800Xt I would say go for it. Otherwise the rig Rave provided is good. I would say you can opt for the X2 3800+ will save some cash, if you are not much into Ocing.
Get 1 gb Ram, for now, and get Creative Audigy 2 value or similar card for 3-4k dunno the pricing in India, and get Logitech X530 5.1 speakers for 5k odd.. Will be a better gaming experience.

PS : I hardly see RAVE posting nowadays, ditto with bottle, masky hence assumed member in blue to be blade :wink:

A8N E = POS (my opnion no flaming kids :face_with_tongue: )
gaming = CRT. Samsung 997DF great, cheaper than the viewsonic models that everyone’s hottin bout these days :face_with_tongue:
7800GT/7800GTX/7900GT = must get
2 gigs RAM
CPU = 3500+ /3800+X2

Get the altec MX 5021 or Logitech Z5300 (2.1/5.1) at least (either of the 2 not both :face_with_tongue: )
Now who said dfi..?:tongue: A8N SLI premium = good buy.
Oh WD/Hitachi SATA 2 250 gig HDD
Xfi extreme music if it fits in the bill :wink:
