Nikon coolpix L110 vs Panasonic FZ 35

I just saw the new release from Nikon, its coolpix L110 - MRP Rs. 15,250/-

Can any one suggest is this good when compared to Panasonic FZ 35?

The only point i am interested in Nikon coolpix L110 is that, i can get the servicing done in Bangalore only (as i am from Bangalore) and i dont have to order it from ebay.

Please provide ur views

Main advantages of FZ35:

  1. RAW mode

  2. AVCHD Lite formate

  3. LECIA

  4. HD recording is limited to card capacity, while Nikon has max 29 mins regardless of card capacity.

  5. Better, 100% better Image stabilization then Nikon L110

However FZ35 would cost you 2.5 K more then Nikon L110, but it’s worth the prize.

Dont know about Nikon L110, but its earlier version L100 dint had the manual mode…biggest disadvantage…

And if L110 also dont have manual controls, its a serious disadvantage… useless to buy…

I am not aware of this, what is this Manual mode? why is it so important?
