This is can be the right time for Indian tech companies to hire the best minds and create world class products but Indian firms dont have the guts to take big risks.

Have seen news about EU countries recruiting disgruntled R&D members from USA, India should’ve done this much earlier providing best facilities to those around the world.

As for India dont think we will be able to take much advantage of this. Europe will be hiring Indians now and Israel . Israel has been hiring low labour class but I think they showed interest in opening doors for High skilled workers…though they have their own solid high skill workforce also. So Israel hiring is yet to be seen.

TACO Trump is gonna make American companies cry, and it’s going to be very tough to come back after his tenure.
Israel is an ethnostate like Japan, they won’t want other ethnicities to settle there so they will only give temporary opportunities. The America going crowd will not be interested in that, how many IITians you see working in the gulf?

You are right about the temporary part maybe. One of my relatives friend had been hired in Israel but then then moved to UK within 3 years. So sort of like short term opportunities only .

Who are Americans lol, I mean it’s not a ethnostate and high tax payers are Indians, or Indian-Americans… still I am more worried about anti-immigrant and Europe is becoming more and more like that and so do the rest of the world, Don’t get offended , but real people are impacted by the extremist who want the rest of the word to become like middle east.. Even if they bring super strict hiring, and immigrant laws , there is nothing to be surprised about…

Probably just rattling. This would hurt American capital so they wont let him do this. This is just him pushing populist messaging without doing much.
This is just a stunt to get media attention. All he wants is the spotlight. He’s acting like the USA is the only great country out there and that the rest of the world should just be subservient to it. This is such a typical Western attitude.
One cannot take away the fact that USA still can make any country nervous.
He maybe just doing this for stunt. But they do hold the cards well.
Indian job market is already down. This will further lower jobs it seems.
He is trying his hardball art of deal trick to bargain the trade deal. He signed trade deals with other countries with far lower rates than expected, might be trying his luck with India.
And rightly so. What are the most powerful companies in the world? Nvidia, Microsoft, apple, google, tesla, oracle, amazon, meta…Every. Single. Company. Created. In the United States. It’s the land of opportunities and you cannot deny that. (I remember a similar dialogue in the intro of san Andreas and it’s true to this day lol).
Americans spend a lot, because they also earn a lot, partly because the govt prints unlimited money, and this financial advantage creates opportunities that no other countries can offer. (Except maybe china,…if only they could speak English or if rest of the world spoke Mandarin)
