Hi all, I need help please. My Nokia G60 5G is stuck in a boot loop.
It was working fine till yesterday evening. I was using the phone normally, and suddenly, I noticed that the mobile network was gone. And then, in a few minutes, the phone just restarted and since then it is just stuck in a boot loop.
It shows the Android One logo and then the Nokia logo, and then reboots again. Initially, it was going through this cycle repeatedly and a bit fast…just rebooting quickly after the Nokia logo…but now, sometimes, it does go past Nokia logo and boots to the phone, and sometimes even lets me put in the phone pin, but after that it just freezes and again reboots.
Once it did go past the pin, and was in the phone for a few minutes …like, I could see my files in the file explorer…but I tried to turn on the wifi and it didnt show any wifi networks. And then it just rebooted again. I also noted that the date has changed too…some past date…couldnt see exactly.
How can I fix this? I have not taken any recent backup of the phone since a few months, as I dont have a computer (my PC died a few months ago too). I really need the data in the phone.
Please help me solve this.
Also, once it also showed a screen where it said “Security error: this device has been flashed with unauthorized & is locked”.
But, I haven’t flashed any software or any ROM on the device since I bought it 2 years ago.
The phone is also not in warranty period anymore.
I am worried about the data, as there is a lot of unbacked up data there, as I couldnt backup on PC. Is there anyway I can make the phone work and take backup of that data? And then I can give the phone for repair.
Or, can the care center fix this issue without reset and loss of data?
I tried to go in to the bootloader, by pressing volume down button and power button, but I dont see any option there of soft reset, or cache wipe or anything of that sort.
Is there no recovery mode in this phone?
Since the phone is able to boot to phone sometimes, I think this might be some hardware problem and not exactly a boot loop? I have some hope that maybe it can be fixed without data loss…but I guess most service centers just hard reset it and say that your data will be lost.
Please help me…will really appreciate this.
