Is this model, nokia n8 released in indian market? is there cellphone from other company that can stand upto this model & also be around 20k?

The sole reason i am buying other fone right now is cuz my office is pressurizing me to take it as they have launched WAP website & they want us to show it to clients, so for this they want me to get up right now & get a new fone, My interest is in Nokia N8 but i’ll have to take a “kaam chalau” fone. How 'bout i go for samsung corby pro, what could be resell value i can expect if i sell it out in october to buy N8?

if you’re talking about a 12mp camera - i heard spice launched one sometime ago., also samsung pixon m8910i has a 12mp cam.
greatest phone i’ve used till now is samsung i8910. get a look at it if suits your budget.

I’m waiting for this phone to come out too dude.

I heard it will be out sometime during September 2010 priced at about EUR 370 before taxes, so will be around 22-24K.

N8 has not yet released in indian market but is it available in U.S or European market? I read on some website that its going to come out in October :frowning:
BTW anyone knows financer or someone who helps you get your mobile on EMI with minimum rate of interest in mumbai.

The Nokia N8 is expected to become available in Q3 2010 with an estimated retail price of 370 euro (500 US dollars) before taxes. It will be available in Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue, Orange.

I doubt it will cost less than 28kin India

its available in the german amazon site (preorder) for about 470 euros with taxes…so i dont expect it to cost less dan 30k in india whenever it launches

Seen the N900 ? Its going for around 25k at the dealer… worth it ?

Bulky, Limited appplications for the OS, Weird Landscape-Only interface, very much not worth it.

Well, SPICE may have some phone with 12MP but that doesn’t count everything. N8 has the largest sensor ( 1/1.83 IIRC ) found in any mobile till date and is greater than most of the PnS digicams out there. Besides, N8’s USB on the go is another unique feature.

Prices In US are Not near the Prices of Phones launched in India. . . .

N8 is a Gr8 Phone my Friend bought it some time back.. and is always talking abt his new Cool phone.. Its a Freakin 32 Gb phone … Loads of Features , Not very new Features , Just the Features which hav been seen in the old phones as well . bt Enhanced …

AS FAR AS THE PRICES r Concerned THEN IS IT APPROX Going to be NOT LESS THEN 25K at all.

I Bought a few Phones my self frm US and the Price Diff is always Little Above 4 TO 5K in India.. No way it is Going to be around 23 K at all
