As far as i see ur siggy, u r having a good gpu. If u r into upgrading pls specify ur budget and don’t judge it by heat it dissipates.

You really want to make your GPU choice based on temperature?
arre 9800GT is a very cool gpu, i suspect Dust Clogging in ur stock heatsink. Moreover urs is the 9800GT AMP @ 700Mhz (Stock is 600Mhz), so how u expect it to remain uber cool.
PS: 80c under load is a Not-to-worry temperature.
The single slot cooler just isn’t good enough, 8800GTS 512 n above r dual slot solution. U should buy GTS 250, good enough for 22" LCD.
