I have a few of these in use to free up PCIe resources:
As far as a I can tell, they’re newly manufactured cards with refurbished/salvaged chips from decommissioned servers. The oldest system I’ve tested them with is a Duron system:
They’re sometimes sold at a high markup on Amazon:
But local stores sell them for under 1k:
