speedtest.net works out the best as it gives ping + ul + dl + distance from the speed tester etc highly detailed and good lookin site too

I am using 2mbps line and on the airtel site i am being shown arnd 2mbps,while on Speedtest it shows arnd 1mbps download speed… i Checked it at 845PM this was the speed on speedtest arnd 1mbps…

got the following results, when i am running utorrent in background
well there are so many sites who gives various information.
Sometimes they ll give the right information but not all the time.
online tests are taking very few transaction (eg 150 kb of file transfer/ for some ms )
As your Internet usage changes sec by sec, the speed of your connection varies.
But you can use some online gadget like " yahoo gaget engine " it will provide you the accurate data transfer rate as long as you are using internet with out hampaering your connection.
you can go for online also like Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test for right information.
as the above site takes larger file for test and gives you the full summary of test.
Both the tests were done after deleting browser cache.
