Rebels celebration is good for their morale isnât it and against the junta.
How did they confirm that light fighter jet was brought down by the rebels?
A year and a half seems quite a long gap between crashes if indeed these rebels have such a capability.

Small rebel groups generally donât get to shoot down a fighter jet everyday.

If there is a mechanical fault they certainly can. Why not?
The plane is out of control. And by not giving details they are not confirming a rebel hit just that they lost an airframe

During a conflict, waiting for the ruling regime to admit their fighter jet got shot down by rebels, will be a wait till the ruling power go down.
