Ahh missed, Core ultra series has higher memory latency and there is no choice but to buy faster and thus expensive ram kit to compensate.

On my am5 , my way cheaper 5200 Hynix kit, I was able to push to 6000 , 30. Good enough for am5
@M0N3Y specifically for the reason pointed in above comment, I have an AM5 setup and paying a premium for speeds I wont be using doesn’t seem worth.
Reditt is full of people crying over price hike. People are saying price is going to go up even more.
