Pay additional ₹699/year to watch ad-free videos even for Amazon Prime Members !

My Prime subscription is yet to expire (few more months left)
And after seeing few ads since last 2 days, searched to find this atrocity by Amazon !

On next renewal, only going to use Prime for shopping, dropping everything else..
New content is released very slow on Amazon.

Yeah the 399rs prime shopping plan is the only decent plan left.

Real Debrid costs about 1500 Rs for 6 months. Its more than Amazon but you kinda get everything. :face_with_tongue:

Can you find any content available for free or paid on any OTT platform?
Do you have it installed?
Setup

Same query . Seems time to shift to Debrid . Can you give link for the guide etc . I want basically netflix content

All these debrid services & pvt trackers are good for western/US based content, for Hindi/Indian content it is better to stick to official OTT services.

not really, as long as it’s released Netflix/Prime/Hotstsr you are guaranteed to get it. Even other OTTs get ripped though not to the extent these 3 are.

If you have any show that you couldn’t find, lemme know, there’s probably q good reason it wasn’t ripped or more likely it wasn’t popular so it wasn’t shared widely from the source rip

There are numerous guides for it but basically you don’t need to do much apart from get the Debrid subscription and use their API key or token in an app, out of which Stremio is the most popular because of how it presents the content.

Any popular content for which a torrent exists is accessible. Some regional content might not be available for which using an aggregated OTT service as backup is preferable, but otherwise it covers most watching needs.

How are you buying these debrid subscriptions? Through your own card or reseller? I don’t see paypal for any of these sites.

Resellers, you can use utop for Indian payment options but I use Bitcoins that I have lying around for several years.

Wish that were true, more like $50-60 purchase that is worth $300-400 today.

Yeah popular series on these major OTTs is not an issue but like you said it isn’t true for not so popular shows. Also, I usually check on mid tier trackers/usenet where low tier rips (which many of the Indian OTT rips are) are not allowed but debrid has no such restrictions so I guess the availability there is better.

After paying all these yearly subscriptions now pay 5 rupees per order as platform fees. Which turns out to be another 1000-1500 year for a customer like me.

I think this is just a starting point. It will be increased later and other fee too like packing fee or some shit like that might turn up on amazon too.

If you are ordering 200-300 times a year from amazon then even after paying Rs.5 extra on every order you are still saving much more compared to offline buying.

What matters is not all the extra fees but whether it is still cheaper/less hassle than buying offline.

This is the reason i started hoarding content back before covid.
Collections is sitting pretty at around 1.2 PB in total.
Everyone in my circle has switched to my plex server and gave up on OTTs since anyways new releases are available within an hour max on private trackers.
Works well for me since I share the cost and it isn’t all on me

Regarding OTT content, havne’t had much trouble finding local content on either usenet or private trackers but ymmv depending upon what you’re looking for.

Creating & maintaining 1.2PB takes some serious amount of money. How many HDDs you are running & what’s the typical electricity bill per month? I only grab stuff which I am going to watch & I delete it afterwards unless it is some classic/highly rated show/movie which I might watch again in future.

OMG. And I thought 100TB is too much hoarding. I had more than a PB when google shared drives worked and edu and NPO accounts were free to get.
