PC Build Help for 2L budget

Hey. My friend wants to build a gaming PC for max budget of 2.2L. He wants to play AAA games at 1440p high. Mostly cyberpunk, f1 24, FIFA 25.

I was thinking something similar to this build at pc part picker.

He doesn’t want an AIO, and wants to use air cooler.
I was also thinking of telling him to get a 1000W power supply just in case.

Please suggest build.
Also, please recommend a single site to buy all components / any trusted offline shop in Bangalore.

Sorry, should have been more specific. He already has the peripherals and the monitor. He only needs the CPU, GPU, motherboard, ram, cabinet and power supply.

Then minus some 24k from above built that’s all.
I think he can even get RTX5080 under 220k .

u dont need a 2.2l for a 144op gaming

this will get the job done

If he is spending so much for 1440, I would suggest to adjust oled or mini led ( with more dimming zones)monitor for the best gameplay experience, specially with cyberpunk and f1.

Get this 9600X + 5070Ti rig instead. You save 50k & get same performance in 99% of the games.

In the 1% games where you might get CPU bottlenecked at even 1440p, you will already be close to or above 100fps for the extra fps to matter.

I will not recommend a 9800X3D unless your budget is high enough to get a 5080 first. Considering 5080 is just 15% faster than 5070Ti & 5070Ti costs under 80k now, 5080 is a poor value. I myself have 9800X3D + 5080 but now the pricing dynamics have changed.

Gigabyte 5070Ti goes for as low as 77k every few weeks, was 77k in Vedant & many other shops 2 weeks back.

Meshed front case is important for India IMO but your friend’s call (that XPG one seems to have glass front).

AIO is not required for 9800X3D as well. I’m using a puny AK400 with some UV (at stock frequency) for my 9800X3D. As ambient temps are relatively low in Bengaluru, my temps are good. AG620 is good enough for up to 200W CPUs (9800X3D is 150W at stock).

Hey boss, I think this guy did some good benchmarks for the idea you suggested. I’ll post 3 links (one benchmark, two builds). @OMEGA44-XT

After watching these 3, I found agreement with you.

The 9600x + 5070Ti seems to be a great option then.
What about 9800x3d and 5070ti? Is that any good for multitasking?

Where will we get to see the difference if we get the better processor? Will 6 core vs 8 core not really have that much of a difference?

How about this set of parts? I think this is a good starting point.

That MSI PSU is a noisy one. Better to go with other A tier PSU from another reputed brand. Not as big of a problem for us Indians who usually keeps ceiling fan on but thought I’d mention it anyway.

For productivity, buy Ultra 7 265K + 5070Ti. Sure CPU is on a dead platform, but it outperforms 9900X & performs close to 7950X.
