Philips adds a new monitor to its Evnia 5000 lineup, featuring an affordable solution for gamers that can display two different resolution modes with up to 320 Hz refresh rate. The Evnia 27M2N5901A is a dual-mode gaming monitor that can display 4K resolution with up to 160 Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution with a max refresh rate of up to 320 Hz. This allows gamers to switch modes according to their preferences, making it an ideal display for both immersive and competitive gaming.
The monitor uses a fast 27-inch IPS panel, delivering competitive specifications for modern gaming, such as a low response time of 1ms GtG and 0.5ms Smart MBR for smoother transitions. The monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR400 certified for vivid image quality and offers Adaptive Sync for tear-free gameplay. The monitor offers a wide color gamut, including color spaces like 90% Adobe RGB, 130% sRGB, and 95% DCI-P3, making images more vibrant and colorful.
It’s not just excellent in color reproduction, but is also color accurate with an accuracy of Delta E < 2 in sRGB mode. The Evnia 27M2N5901A comes with an AI-enhanced Ambiglow technology, which allows it to sync the content colors with the LED lighting behind the display, making viewing more immersive.
