There are a lot of scams with details here on the forum itself. Prominent ones include changing smartdata, not able to upgrade the official firmware, Windows driver updates & subsequent crashes, No proper warranty, Size variations (may show as 2tb but actual will be 512) etc.,

I’m using this with wd 240gb ssd to install games to my j/b ps4 (external 1tb hdd).

Waiting idea was good. SSD booted up just fine in the external enclosure. I am sure it’s a Windows update screwup.
