Guys is this a good deal to shift to graphene OS?
i dont understand how is this a great deal.
it was launched at $499 right which comes to Rs 45k. and this is 6 month old i believe.
So discount is decent but nothing Wow.. compared to that Nothing 3a which was launched for $799 almost 70k and people manage to get it for 27k( some got cancelled too). now that is a deal of the year.

Yes. It’s the cheapest pixel phone that’ll run Graphene OS at that price.
Is it a good buy? - IMO, no.
I was running CalyxOS on my Mi A2. That was a good phone, at a decent price. I didn’t lose much by running CalyxOS on it. I gave up on it after almost 7 years, because a lot of apps stopped working on it.
I was considering the Pixel 9a to run Graphene OS, but I decided against it and got the Samsung S24FE instead.
I love the idea of not being tracked and protecting your privacy, but it doesn’t work in reality. Somehow I was being served ads for things I was just thinking about, even though I didn’t have any Google and Meta apps installed on my phone, and I use Linux, with Firefox, opening all my social sites in different containers. But I found I was still being tracked.
If you’re really strict with your internet hygiene then maybe it’ll work for you. In which case you should buy it and protect your privacy.
I’m more concerned about security than privacy without going into the walled garden of the fruit company or completely dependent on google services 
maybe I will wait for some few more months and see.
All the ppl I know who fell victim to online frauds were those who either installed shady apps or APKs or use same password everywhere incl for gmail linked to their bank/card on which otp comes.
