The game is using D3 tech for sure and the article also mentions that DNF is well on track and that they have seen it with their own eyes.

The hell!! The monsters look 10x the scarier than D3! Need more info on this game. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Looks like another Doom 3 clone to me ! and take a look @ the premise of the game "The dude’s gf’s bar is torn apart by a alien scout ship and the girl is abducted by aliens and our dude has to save her ! :face_with_tongue: " Sounds cheesy !

Edit: Apparently if the cheesy story wasnt enough they also have a emotional twist to the story, a love story is going to be incorporated into it  to give us gamers a reason to kick alien ass (as if we need a reason :face_with_tongue: ) and the CEO is expecting e-mails from players who shed tears

looks better than doom 3 …hope plays much better than doom 3

Wow, am keeping my eyes peeled for this one. DNF is turning into more of a forgotten dream.

So, this is one more monster-bashing game with a few spices added to it! :face_with_tongue:

Looks superb.

What we’re seeing currently is the doom3 tech merely flinching it’s muscles, not even a proper flex.
It will be interesting to see how it matures over the years.

Hopefully dnf will be on the doom3 tech as well, it’s the only way 3drealms can actually turn all the delays into a good thing.
Even duke3d and shadow warrior simply rebuilt on the doom3 tech would be awesome.

kramak dun it again?

Nothing can be said for certain as for now! Wait till they release some more details. Then, some real conclusions could be calculated. :face_with_tongue: :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

hmm. the pics of the game seem gud
but we can say nething only after its actually out
D3 was grr8ly hyped but it turned out only to be a great graphical fantasy but gameplay was not to gud

No No…DNF is using its own rendering technology on top of the unreal engine.
