PrimeABGB cashback

Has anyone used the SBI Cashback card on the PrimeABGB website and got 5% cashback? Planning to buy a GPU.

From my research, yes, you will get it for Prime, Vedant & MD. I got it from Vedant, STPL personally, a friend has got cashback from Vishal Peripherals & Computech as well (need to pay 1.5% or so charge for CC payment though).

Ok, I’m trusting you then! If there is no cashback next month, I’ll be sad.

It’s reflected after 2-3 days of transacting

Ok, let’s hope for the best then.
Also, if anyone is interested, all products on PrimeABGB have a blanket 2% discount if you’re doing a bank transfer or UPI payment.
If you’re using CC, the price mentioned on the website is final. In a few other sites, like @@OMEGA44-XT mentioned, they’ll add the 2% transaction fees. So if ur comparing prices, please keep this in mind.

For swiggy hdfc bank credit card do we get 5% off from MD,Primeabgb? Since i heard it supports MCC code related to electronics.

No. Did you even read the benefits of HDFC Swiggy CC? You will get 1% upto 500 or 1000 (whatever the cap is).

HDFC swiggy card also has a 5% cb category with 1500 monthly cap provided the mcc falls under below categories.

You need to do a txn first on these sites to know which mcc their payment gateway is using.

My bad, didn’t know of this change but how do you find the MCC from a transaction?

how to know after doing a transaction?

UPDATE: I got the cash back, bought the Sapphire Pulse RX 9060 XT for 35k ish.
Cashback card FTW. Also, I got the card yesterday afternoon! Kudos to PrimeABGB, they’re really fast.
Thanks @@OMEGA44-XT for the assist.

The only option is to check with your bank after making the payment, there’s no other way.
Also, merchants sometimes misuse this MCC code for their transactions. There’s no regulatory body to check this either. Hence, the only option is to do this on a trial and error basis.

Use a card from a bank whose customer support can tell the mcc of txn. For reference, hdfc bank support it but kotak bank doesn’t. Kotak & Axis bank now have even implemented new T&C which says mcc alone will not decide the cb/reward points & spend category will decide it based on txn narration/technical details so for example if a gift voucher selling website use mcc of a typical ecomm website whose mcc is eligible for cb/points then as per new T&C it won’t because txn will be categorized under GV purchase & not ecomm based on mcc.

Does anyone know if you can get 5% cashback while paying NVIDIA STPL via PayU? If yes, which cards? I know there’s a cap with SBI at INR 5k per month. Any other cards to get around this limit?
I recently got a mail to purchase the 5090FE, and 5% of 2.2L is substantial savings.

Attaching a screenshot of the payment portal:

Yes, works for SBI cashback CC. Got the 5k cashback, but if you know someone with Infinia, 3%+ of 2.2L will be a bit more.
