Project White Knight : Air Cooling at it's Best..

Thank you for appreciating :).

i haven’t cut the case yet,but all the markings are done & i will soon cut it.

the problem is that i don’t have access to power tools like a dremel except a drill machine.

unfortunately i will have to cut the case old school style using saw blade.

You can get a good B&D cutting tool for less than 3k shipped…

UPDATE - 21/12/2010

Finally i was able to cut the side panel.

it took me about 5 hours to cut it & file it.

i used a 1/8" drill bit & drilled some holes out then i used a saw blade to cut it & after filing it here’s the result.

i think it’s almost perfect.

what do you guyz think??

this my friend is truly awesome

cheers bro and keep it up and keep us posted

Thanks Man.

even i’m more than satisfied with the results..

thats pretty ooooooooooooooooooooooooosome :0

Thanks Man

UPDATE - 26/12/2010

Got some free time to work & completed the top panel.

i used a 1/8" drill bit to drill a series of holes inside the line, filed it & then sanded it to make it look professional.

here’s how it looks like -

so,what do you guyz think??

will start preparing the outer panels for the case for paint from now on

I must say, you are a man of extreme patience :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Great work, would love to see the final result

^ Thanks

thats preety accurate cutting dude

i like doing things slowly, but with perfection :face_with_tongue:

UPDATE - 30/12/2010

I Searched for a Professional Painter in my city & came across one.

the outer panels are now sanded & primed using Self Etching Primer

here are some pics (two to be precise :face_with_tongue: )

apologies for bad pic quality :ashamed:

why a green colour?

Superb work hats off to you. The cutting job is excellent…so u actually just drilled a couple of holes and then used a band saw? Wow, hats off buddy. And I hope thats the primer coat.

Man that’s really cool

@ surajspai - i don’t know buddy.i suppose different brand primer are of different color.

@mav2000 - Thanks,it’s an honor being appreciated by you. yes,it took me some time to make holes in top panel but i did it with patience & filing was comparatively easy as it’s aluminum not steel.

@Vibu - Thanks :slight_smile:

**NEW YEAR BRINGS NEW UPDATES :face_with_tongue:

I WISH ALL MY FELLOW TEians A VERY HAPPY & PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

UPDATE - 01/01/2011**

Before modding i used to see others projects on sites all over the world & i found one thing common in them.

can you guess what was it?

PETS

people said that they are always there when you are modding something but i didn’t believed it, UNTIL NOW

This is a very small update to be honest, anyways here it goes

after priming the panels,he used a soft kinda filler to level the surface which i screwed using drill bit. :face_with_tongue:

hope you all guyz like it

UPDATE - 04/01/2011

After sanding the filler a bit he applied Surface Primer to all the panels.

here’s how it looks after the job

**UPDATE - 09/01/2011
THE CASE HAS BEEN PAINTED WHITE,HERE ARE SOME TEASER PICS
I’M A HUGE FAN OF PINSTRIPING ART BUT SINCE THIS BEING MY CITY WHICH IS MORE OF A VILLAGE I DECIDED TO USE PLOTTER INSTEAD OF PINSTRIPER
**

The black part is Stencil on which i’ll be painting up tomorrow. :face_with_tongue:
