Is it good compared to a mechanical one, looking for keyboard for long-term usage.

No membrane keyboard can ever match a good mechanical keyboard with right switches for typing purpose. Also, the Razer software is quite notorious in terms of how deeply it integrates with windows. For this price though, you will not get a better membrane keyboard though.
