RBE - BIOS MOD - Need urgent help

Hi Guys,

I got stable OC clocks, which I am trying to mod it onto the BIOS using RBE and ATIflash
10.6 driver and CCC - ati overdrive disabled

I changed the OC values of 825 / 995 to Clocks 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 - and flashed it with atiflash @ dos + hp formatted pendrive

After booting, the clocks go back to 750 / 900
I extracted from GPUZ to confirm it, and it reverts to previous values
I set Clock 01 to 200 / 500 earlier to underclock @ 2D mode successfully

I dont understand why its happening like this

TIA for for checking this thread and any help in this regard

posted in the other thread.

you gotta take chance with clock 00 in this regard.

i suppose 4870 is not reacting similar to 4850 with corresponding changes in bios.

madnav - i saw that, have u seen something about the clock tuning wizard, would that help
have u tried it before

I am @ office, so cant check anything till night

tried it before.

it did the same as what we are doing.

clock 03-clock 09 is being set to the desired OC mode.

it OCes the card to chosen limits even in UVD mode which is not required.

i guess the last thing left to be tries is to check with clock 00

just make sure u keep a copy of default/previous stable bios on the flash drive for blind flash.

Did you try a dry run of the values using Riva. How was the GPU reacting. Also you must be seeing flickers when the memory changes speed/profile..?

the issue has been resolved.
