Since it has a flat battery, I think these should help

This should be an exact fit

This similar in size might be half an mm thicker

https://robocraze.com/products/3-7v-2000mah-li-ion-gps-battery

This is the highest capacity in flat form factor, It would fit but might take some convincing. I wouldn’t recommend anything higher.

Look on the site

For 500 you can buy 2-3 batteries and try to fit the largest capacity.

Also, don’t look for ultra-high capacity (>=4000 mah) those would be just 18650 in parallel and wouldn’t fit in the controller. 2000-2500 mah would be the most practical and you wouldn’t have to do a hack job.

Thanks bro,
I have ordered this one. Let’s see if this will work.

Do let know when u replace it…as i am also having same issue with same gamepad but it does work sometimes.

sure ,will let u know if this works or not .

i tried the 2000mah battery, but it was way bigger, had to stick this to the back side of the controller, otherwise it works fine . still can’t figure out the charging time , had it charging straight for 4 hours but didn’t see the charge full light.

That’s just a puncture away from being a fire hazard.
Good to know 2000mah won’t fit, you can try a 3d print shell or just get a smaller pack.

I’m gonna risk it will replace the controller if that happens, till then it’s gonna work just fine.

What are the dimensions of the original battery if you can check.

Length - 5cm
Width -3cm
Height - 0.5cm

the 1000 mah has the same size as the original. so that should work. 53 x 34 x 6 mm (original) , 54 x 34 x 6 mm(1000mah). so the same .

1000mah battery is slightly big, but the width is the same. Also the connector is different, so you have to salvage the one from the old battery. And there are two plastic barriers to keep the old battery in place, so you have to remove that too. If you are successful in doing all these, it should look something like this. @akaCode @rockyo27

RedGear Pro Wireless Gamepad, I have an unused one. I can check battery status if anyone wants . How to check ?
